This state-of-the-art cold storage facility was designed and delivered by Frigo System as a fully turnkey cold storage  project. Located in Houston, Texas — one of North America’s most critical logistics hubs — the facility addresses the increasing demand for reliable, energy-efficient temperature-controlled storage in the region’s food supply chain.

From technical design through global procurement and on-site execution, Frigo System managed every phase of the  cold storage project. The result is a facility that meets the highest international standards in food safety, energy performance, and operational reliability.

• Expansive indoor area: With 5,100 m² of enclosed operational space, the facility delivers high-density storage capacity while maintaining efficient workflow and logistics management throughout the plant.
• Advanced cooling technology: 29 high-performance cooling units are installed to handle multiple temperature zones simultaneously, ensuring consistent and precise climate control for a wide range of perishable products.
• Superior sandwich panel insulation: 11,000 m² of high-density insulated sandwich panels were applied to maximize thermal efficiency and minimize energy consumption — a critical factor for long-term operational cost savings.
• Fast & secure access systems: Three automatic sliding cold room doors and two insulated high-speed doors were integrated to support high-frequency logistics traffic while significantly reducing thermal loss at every entry point.
